Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series could be in your hands as early as next week, Telltale has confirmed.
The game’s Steam listing features a December release date, to which Telltale responded to Polygon with the following statement:
“We’re anticipating an early December premiere for the first episode of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series. Standby @telltalegames on twitter for an announcement expected very soon.”
The new six-part episodic series tells the story of House Forrester, and is set towards the end of series three and right before the start of season five. House Forrester is caught up in events of the The War of the Five Kings, with members of the household forced to do everything they can to prevent the house from an early grave.
The game will see players visit familiar locations such as King’s Landing and The Wall, as well as unfamiliar locations such as Ironrath, the home of House Forrester.
In addition the game’s PC system requirements have been confirmed on Steam.
Minimum requirements:
- OS: Windows XP Service Pack 3
- Processor: Core 2 Duo 2GHz or equivalent
- Memory: 3 GB RAM
- Graphics: ATI or NVIDIA card w/512 MB RAM
- DirectX: Version 9.0
- Hard Drive: 3 GB available space
- Sound Card: Direct X 9.0c sound device
- Additional Notes: Not Recommended for Intel integrated graphics
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series will launch on PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and iOS. Additional platforms are to be announced at a later date.
