GAME will open 510 of its GAME and gamestation stores for the midnight launch of EA’s Battlefield 3 this Friday.
In addition, GAME’s flagship store on Oxford Street will be holding the official UK midnight launch with TV presenter Jason Bradbury as host of the event. On the night, stock of the game will arrive just before midnight in a style inspired by Battlefield 3.
Fans will also get the chance to see what it’s like to actually be part of the game by standing in front of a green screen.
The first 100 people to join the queue at the Oxford Street store will get a limited edition, customised Battlefield 3 military-style dog tag. There’ll also be a Battlefield 3 gameplay challenge, giving two fans the chance to win a pair of Steel Series Siberia V2 headphones.
It will be interesting to see just how stock of the game arrives at the Oxford Street store. We can’t see a helicopter or fighter jet landing in Oxford Street, but would a tank be out of the question?
We hope to have our review ready for your eyes before the game’s launch on Friday. Find out why we’re not ready to publish a review just yet by reading this article.
