The new incarnation of the GBA, no doubt to be a favourite this Christmas, will be available in four colours at launch: Silver, Green, Blue and Pink. The Micro measures only 4 inches wide, two inches tall and 0.7 inches deep. Despite its tiny size the Micro packs the same processing power as the GBA and can play all existing GBA titles.
As well as the unit’s tiny size, the Micro’s other major feature is its 2 inch backlit screen, which is brighter and sharper than any previous Game Boy. Users will be able to adjust the brightness of the screen, making play in all lighting conditions much easier. As well as the standard four colours the Micro will launch with there will also be a selection of faceplates available for full customisation.
