While Spore wasn’t quite the game we hoped it would be, EA still has big plans for the evolution sim. So far we’ve only seen the release of the Spore Creepy and Cute Parts Pack, but the first true expansion is just a few months away.
According to Kotaku, EA has sent out invitations to an event showcasing Spore Galactic Adventures, a new expansion scheduled for release in the spring. Further details will be revealed later this month.
Kotaku also notes that the wording on the event invitation suggests EA and Maxis have additional Spore products lined-up for 2009.
