Back in July when the game was announced, Fuzion Frenzy 2 was intended to be a Christmas 2006 release, but for unknown reasons the game has now been delayed until spring 2007.

Developed by Hudson and published by Microsoft, Fuzion Frenzy 2 will feature a collection of forty futuristic mini-games set across seven different planets. Some of the games include Collision Collusion, Turbine Jumper, and Super Slam Dunk – an advanced slam dunk shootout played in low gravity.

The game’s all about multiplayer and will feature both online and offline four-player support. Players will even be able to create unique custom games and share them online.

We’ll be sure to post an update once Microsoft announces a more precise release date.
