Point & click adventure Full Throttle is being remastered for PlayStation platforms and PC, Double Fine has announced.
Due for release in 2017, the remaster will feature brand new hand-drawn visuals, enhanced audio and a developer commentary – just like next year’s Day of the Tentacle Remastered.
“Full Throttle Remastered will complete the trilogy of Tim’s games from LucasArts that we’ve been given the chance to restore,” Double Fine wrote on its website. “Just like those games, we will make a Remaster with the quality, care and attention to detail that can only come from involving the original creators.”
Full Throttle first released on PC in 1995, and sees players take on the role of biker protagonist Ben on a ‘heavy metal adventure’. Screenshots of the remastered version have yet to be released.
