Halfbrick Studios, developer of Fruit Ninja, Age of Zombies and Raskulls, has announced Machine Gun Jetpack: a survival platformer for the iPhone and iPad.
Players take control of Barry Steakfries, who jets about a series of 2D obstacle courses with nothing but a machine gun as a method of navigation. One tap of the screen will fire the weapon, causing Barry to ascend. It’s the classic Flash Helicopter game, with guns.
Machine Gun Jetpack is due to hit the App Store later in the year. Before then, XBLA’s Summer of Arcade will welcome Fruit Ninja Kinect – which will be following the high standards set by Bastion, From Dust and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.
