EA’s Bunrout Paradise demo might have been claiming most the press, but there’s another demo doing the rounds today: THQ’s Frontlines: Fuel of War.

Set in a world ravaged by a global energy crisis, environmental decay and economic depressions, players assume the role of an elite soldier in the Western Coalition Army on en epic crusade against the Red Star Alliance to control the last of the world’s oil reserves.

The game plays out as an open-world FPS, combing cinematic, non-linear gameplay, with futuristic weaponry and next-generation visuals.

The demo is a whopping 1.69 GB so might take a while to download, but you’re getting your hands on the game several month prior to its planned February 15 release. For more on the game check out VideoGamer.com’s recently published hands-on preview.
