A new DLC pack for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has introduced the option to let players play as female warrior Lithariel.
The free Power of Defiance bundle packs in the new character skin along with a new ‘Test of Defiance’ Challenge Mode and ‘Defiant to the End’ Epic Rune.
By equipping the Rune, players gain an additional Last Chance when downed, with the new challenge mode tasking players with defeating Sauron’s Warchiefs “without cheating death or relying on the power of the Wraith”.
The DLC is available now via a free content update on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Shadow of Mordor also hit stores today, although Warner has yet to confirm whether the Power of Defiance bundle will also be available on last-gen.
