The next Fortnite update is imminent. It is the first update in nearly a month due to summer break for Epic Games personnel, and Epic has revealed some incoming map changes including a Superman POI. While the incoming new update is exciting, make sure to grab a free Fortnite skin while you still can as it expires today.

As reminded by iFireMonkey on X, the Blitz Knight Outfit is set to expire today as it will no longer be available as a free outfit after the update set for July 15th. This is despite Blitz Royale being extended until August 15th with the Blitz Brella still available to claim.
Regarding how to get the Blitz Knight outfit before it expires, you need to complete any one of the objectives listed below:
- Reach Top 10 players in different Blitz Royale matches (20)
- Earn Account Levels in any FortniteExperience (10)
As for the Blitz Brella, you are still able to unlock it by August 15th through winning three matches of Blitz Royale.
It’s unknown if another new free outfit will replace the Blitz Knight, but so far nothing has been announced nor leaked. It’s a shame it hasn’t been extended alongside the Blitz Brella, so here’s hoping we do get a new skin from Epic Games.
What’s next for Fortnite is a new update on July 15th, and then we are on the path towards the next season currently expected for August 8th. Official details haven’t been provided yet, but leaks suggest Chapter 6 Season 4 will run from August until November, and that there will be alien invasion theme with six mid-season updates and a live event.
