Activision has promised to release two new stages and five bonus skaters for free in future updates for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5.
The announcement follows a statement from the publisher yesterday acknowledging “issues” with the game, which has been panned by critics for its bugs, poor graphics and “bad level design”. It isn’t clear, however, whether the promise of free DLC is in reaction to the game’s reception or part of Activision’s original plan.
8 stages are included in the game at launch, although further details on the additional DLC have yet to be revealed.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 releases on PS4 and Xbox One today, with an Xbox 360 and PS3 release following in November.
