Turn 10 has announced that the ‘All-New’ Forza Motorsport will be arriving on Xbox consoles and PC this Spring.

The follow-up to 2017’s Forza Motorsport 7 is dropping the number for its latest entry and promises to immerse racers like never before. Turn 10’s Dan Greenawalt and Chris Esaki were on hand at the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase to show off the racing sim. They did so with a closer look at what they claim is the most advanced tech in the series to date.

The two took us on a tour of a newly-rebuilt Maple Valley. The fan favourite track has been a staple since the first Forza Motorsport, and its latest incarnation looks better than ever. Also returning are the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and the Laguna Seca Raceway. There’s also a couple of new tracks; Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from South Africa and the Circuit Hakone in Japan.

On these tracks you’ll get to experience the new overhauled physics as well as a dynamic time of day system. Apart from the lighting, the time of day will also change the temperatures which in turn affects the surface of the track and the grip of your vehicle. Of course, the new consoles help do the grunt work, allowing the team to improve the physics simulation by 48 times and ray tracing aplenty on the cars and tracks. There’ll also be new features like tire and fuel management, tire compounds and more.

Turn 10 has promised to give a further deep dive into the new game in a Forza Monthly broadcast this Thursday. Until then, you can check out the trailer for yourself down below. Forza Motorsport arrives on Xbox Series X|S and PC in Spring 2023, and of course will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
