A new update on Playground Games' Companies House page has seemingly confirmed that the Forza Horizon studio is being acquired by Microsoft.

Keith Dolliver is now listed as Playground's new director, who just so happens to serve as Microsoft's Vice President and Deputy General Counsel; according to his LinkedIn profile, he specialises in acquisitions and mergers.

For those unaware, the Companies House is a UK government-run website that contains data for all registered companies in the country, so it's safe to assume this is pretty much legit.

At this point it's worth remembering that Playground is rumoured to be chiseling away on a new Fable game, so any possible acquisition would definitely make sense.

Forza Horizon is almost certainly getting a new game at some point, and we'd be surprised if it wasn't announced at E3 next week.
