Playground Games has revealed that Forza Horizon 4 will incorporate narrative elements for the first time in the series.

Dubbed Horizon Stories, these missions will offer bite-sized tales set within Forza Horizon 4's stunning British backdrop, and involve you becoming a taxi or stunt driver among other things.

'One of the things that’s brand-new is that we’ve added a feature called Horizon Stories. They’re really cool little bite-sized pieces of narrative-based gameplay,' Benjamin Penrose told Destructoid.

You'll even be able to take on 'the narratives that are associated with other racing games,' with one in particular doffing its cap to the classic Dreamcast title, Crazy Taxi.

Forza Horizon 4 was one of the many games announced at Microsoft's E3 press conference, and will be launching for Xbox One and PC on October 2. As mentioned, the game takes place in the UK and will include dynamic seasons, allowing for a myriad of weather conditions as you progress.
