Forza Motorsport 5 has sold over 1 million copies on Xbox One, Microsoft has revealed.

“Forza Motorsport 5 has been embraced by Xbox One fans worldwide, with more than one-third of console owners purchasing the game since its November 22 launch,” explained a post on Xbox Wire.

We know the Xbox One has sold through over 3 million units, meaning the game sales stand at over 1 million.

The post adds that Forza 5 is “the best-selling racing game by console attach over the past decade,” and if you can figure out what this means please let us know.

The sales data comes in addition to the release of the game’s first track add-on update, Road America. The new track is free to all Forza 5 players and will be fully integrated into the game’s Career mode.

And there’s more. The Road America Booster pack is also available now priced £3.99 or free to Car Pass owners. The pack features the 2006 #2 Audi Sport North America R8, 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, 1968 Ferrari 365 GTB/4, 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1, and the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series.
