Epic Games has revealed a new item is headed to Fortnite with the next content update: Say hello to The Bouncer. No, not the dodgy PlayStation 2 launch title, but a device that is sure to catch you some serious air time.
The Bouncer is essentially a blue pad that can be placed on the ground, allowing you to step on it to send you flying — and there's no fall damage either.
So, very handy if you need to get out of a sticky situation in a hurry, or if you need to catch some air to boost you over any ground obstructions or to a higher vantage point.

There's no release date for The Bouncer yet, but Epic says it's 'coming soon.' In the meantime, you can strap on the new Rapscallion and Jailbird clobber if you fancy giving your character a new wardrobe.
Fortnite is currently available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, although it's looking very likely the battle royale behemoth will come to Switch at some point.
