Fortnite’s Chapter 2 update is now downloadable on PC, consoles, and mobile platforms (via Eurogamer).
Checking out the official Fortnite site, it’s still fixated on the black hole. Oh, that little thingamabob that just vaporised the entire island and pulled the battle royale offline for two whole days and counting. So, we don’t know when Fortnite is returning, but if this patch is anything to go by, it’s coming back with a bang.
Eurogamer has said that the update is tipping the scales at around 16GB on PC, around 9GB on PlayStation 4, around 19GB on Xbox One, and around 192 MB on iOS. Plus, the leaked trailer reveals a whole new world in a totally new galaxy, wherein four new characters are treading lightly. Don’t blame them, to be honest.

This trailer seems to confirm that Fortnite Chapter 2 is taking place somewhere different, and it’s a watery island with snowy mountains and a leaking nuclear power plant. The four characters explore the land peacefully, though armed to the teeth, then a horn blares from overhead.
We'll keep you in the loop once we know more. For now, continue staring at the black hole like 55,000 other people are right now.
