Epic Games has announced musical superstar Ariana Grande will be performing in Fortnite as part of a Rift Tour virtual concert event this weekend.
The show will be played five times so as many people in different time zones as possible get to see it. The first show will take place Friday August 6 at 11pm UK time and the second show on Saturday, August 7 at 7pm UK time. There’ll then be three shows on Sunday August 8 at 5am UK time, 3pm UK time and 7pm UK time. Fans are advised to log into the game an hour before their desired show, with the playlist live 30 minutes beforehand.
Before Ariana’s arrival, players are also able to nab specifically-themed costumes and outfits based on the superstar in the Item Shop and as part of the game’s ongoing Icon Series. Everyone who attends the concert will also get to claim a free Cuddly Cloudcruiser umbrella, with a rainbow coloured bonus one for Fortnite Crew members.
Grande’s not the only one coming to the battle royale this week either, as Idris Elba revealed his character Bloodsport from The Suicide Squad movie will also land in the Item Shop tomorrow.
