Battle royale shooter Fortnite has had its first patch since last week's launch of Season 9, and as per it sees a few new additions to the popular multiplayer title.

The showcase feature is the Tactical Assault Rifle, which is fully automatic with a 30 round magazine. It's described as having a tight spread in close quarters, but it's slightly less effective at longer ranges in comparison to other AR weapons.

Creative mode also gets a few new additions, with a bunch of Ruined prefabs to reflect the damage caused to the world. Save the World mode meanwhile gets Mist Pods and a Prehistoric Izza hero, alongside a bunch of more minor tweaks and additions for that and the Battle Royale variant of the game. You can read the full patch notes over on the Fortnite website.

The patch comes ahead of a leaked John Wick LTM set to take place in Fortnite presumably in the very near future.
