Epic Games has polished off another Fortnite update for your consumption, this time adding a brand new Limited Time Mode for the battle royale version of the massively popular shooter.
This one is called The Floor is Lava, which might give you an idea of what it's about. Here, the volcano has started spewing lava all over the shop, which means you have to get the high ground if you want to stand a chance of surviving.
Fortnite update 8.20 also includes a new item in the shape of the Poison Dart Trap, which is handy at catching your opponents off guard. There's also some new grub on the table, including a healing banana, a coconut that buffs your health and shields, and finally, a pepper that regenerates your health and lets you zoom about the place.
Meanwhile, Save the World players will gain access to a Creature Spawner option. This allows you to 'setup fiendish challenges' for you and your mates, giving Fortnite's PvE effort a challenging new makeover.
Also new to the table is the Shooting Range, which lets you polish up your headshots in Fortnite's Creative Mode. Read the full patch notes here.
