New Fortnite x Stranger Things skin is available in a cup

The third wave of the Fortnite x Stranger Things collaboration is set to come out on Saturday. However, before it comes to the Item Shop, you can unlock one of the skins for free. Vecna, the show’s antagonist, is available in a Fortnite cup on Friday. If you manage to finish among the top players in your region, you will receive his skin and a back bling!

What makes the upcoming Fortnite cup special is that it will have two pools of winners. Mobile players will have their own cup, while players on PCs and consoles will compete in a different one. Thanks to this, mobile players will be on a level playing field and won’t have to compete against those on more powerful devices.

How to unlock Vecna skin in Fortnite for free?

To get Vecna ahead of his release in Fortnite, you will have to compete in the upcoming Stranger Things cup. If you finish among the top performers in your region, you will receive the skin right away, as well as its back bling. However, you only need to score eight or more points to get the Natural 20 emoticon, an item exclusive to this cup.

Interestingly, the Stranger Things cup won’t be available in every region. It will be available in the Middle East, Europe, Brazil, and NA Central.

Winners will be separated into two groups, as mobile players will have their own cup. Once again, bigger regions will get more winners.

The cup will be played in a Blitz mode, Solo playlist. To check the exact start time in your region, please check the Compete tab in Fortnite’s main menu.
