The newest Fortnite update brought plenty of new content, from new cosmetics to another OG season. The update went live on Tuesday morning, and besides the things that have already been released, there’s a lot more stuff that’s hidden from plain sight. One of these things is a new secret Fortnite quest that you can complete.
In this article, we will take a deeper look at the latest mystery challenge. We’ll explain how to trigger it and where to find it. Once you complete it, you will receive XP, which will help you progress through the Battle Pass.
How to find the new secret quest in Fortnite?
To find the secret challenge, you will have to get into the OG mode. This mode received a massive content drop with the latest update, as Epic Games released a new season for it. By playing this mode, you can go back in time to visit the third season of Chapter 1, and while doing so, complete a new hidden quest.
To complete the secret quest in Fortnite, you will first have to trigger it. This means that you need to go to Retail Row and get to the basement of the house in the northwestern part of it. If you skip this part, you will not be able to complete the quest.
Once you visit the basement and see the image, you will need to find the location marked on the map. This is a simple task, as you simply need to go to Wailing Woods and interact with an object found on the eastern side of this area.
After visiting the marked place, you will complete the secret Fortnite quest and receive 10,000 XP.
