Epic Games just released another Fortnite teaser. With Season 5 coming out in three days, this comes as no surprise. The videogame developer is well known for teasing new seasons shortly ahead of their release. The latest teaser was released on Tuesday at 10 AM Eastern Time.
Once again, Epic teased the upcoming Fortnite Battle Pass. While the entire lineup hasn’t been revealed yet, it appears that the pass will include many remixed skins. This is something Epic Games did in Season X, and many players enjoyed it.
Besides the upcoming skins, the latest Fortnite teaser also showed a few more details.
The new teaser shows a couple of Fortnite characters which will likely come with the Season 5 Battle Pass. It appears that Epic Games will release a remixed version of Ragnarok and Peely. The other skin looks similar to Omega, one of the most popular cosmetic items in Fortnite. All of these skins were originally released in Chapter 1 seasons, so bringing them back makes a lot of sense.
In addition to these skins, the Fortnite teaser showed Shopping Carts and Mounted Turrets. Carts were the first vehicle in Fortnite and were available in Season 4, while a Mounted Turret was a trap item first added in Season 6. Furthermore, the original Assault Rifle can also be seen in the teaser.
The caption of the teaser simply reads, “It’s time to go back,” which is a reference to Chapter 1. While Epic Games clarified that some new movement mechanics, such as tactical sprinting and mantling, will stay in the game, it appears that Fortnite will go back to its old graphics next season.
Fortnite Season 5 is scheduled to come out on Friday, November 3. Due to this, we will likely get more teasers over the next few days. These teasers may include more Battle Pass characters, gameplay items, and other interesting details about the future of the game.
