Epic Games has today just finished updating their immensely popular build-and-shoot-em-up Fortnite with the latest patch, headlined by a new feature and a new consumable for the game’s free-to-play Battle Royale mode.

As detailed in the patch notes, the Season Shop adds the ability to purchase items for your Battle Royale character that as the name suggests will change every Season. The first lot of items include an Arial Assault One Glider and Arial Assault Trooper One outfit available to purchase at levels 5 and 15 and a Renegade Raider outfit and the Raider’s Revenge pickaxe at levels 20 and 35.

The second major addition is the new consumable, the bush – only available as a Legendary rarity item in chests and supply drops – which camouflages the player as, well, a bush. The disguise is immediately lost should you take any damage from other players or the storm.

Also of note is that Fortnite announced the game had surpassed 20 million players over the weekend – a not insignificant feat considering the arguably current leader of the genre PUBG only themselves announced yesterday that they’d just hit a similar milestone.
