Epic Games has released many rare Fortnite skins over the past few months. Considering that these skins are not exclusive, bringing them back to the Item Shop makes sense. Epic clarified that only Battle Pass skins are exclusive, while everything else could return at some point.

On Wednesday, the Fortnite creator brought back Rosa, a popular skin that had been vaulted for two years. The skin was first released in November 2018 and has appeared in the Item Shop 11 times. While it was quite rare, its male variant is even rarer and could return soon.

Here’s everything we know about the rare Fortnite skin and its potential return.

This rare Fortnite skin could come to the Item Shop in a few days

Dante is a male variant of the Rosa outfit. Both of them were released on the same date and are part of the special Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) set. Day of the Dead is a holiday that is celebrated every year on November 1 or 2. However, it is also celebrated on November 6 in some parts of the world.

Epic Games has turned Dante into one of the rarest Fortnite skins by keeping him in the vault for three years. The Fortnite outfit has come to the Item Shop only eight times, but it could return very soon. Considering that Rosa was just re-released, Dante’s return might be around the corner.

According to iFireMonkey, a reputable Fortnite leaker, Epic Games updated both Rosa and Dante. Considering that Rosa has already come out, it’s hard to think that Epic updated Dante for no reason. Chances are that the rare Fortnite skin will simply be released later this week.

Interestingly, Epic mostly released Rosa and Dante together. However, Rosa also came out in 2021, which wasn’t the case for its male counterpart.

Considering that Dante was last seen nearly 1,100 days ago, he’s in the top 2% of the rarest Fortnite skins. If Epic Games decides to bring him back, this will happen over the next few days. Due to this, Dante could be included in the first Season 5 Item Shop.
