Fortnite has had shopping carts for a few weeks now, although it turns out that some players weren't using them for the reasons developer Epic Games intended.

As a result, Epic has been yo-yoing between removing carts from the battle royale title and then adding them back in.

In fact, it reintroduced shopping carts only this week before pulling them just hours later.

So, as EastEnders' Phil Mitchell would say, wot's that abaht?

Well, it turns out that Epic Games found that players were using the carts to glitch themselves under the map. This was accomplished by hopping into a cart and then building a pyramid above their head.

Big deal, right? Well, yes. After they got under the map, players could simply hop out of the cart and not only explore freely, but also shoot other players without fear of retaliation.

Right now it's not known if shopping carts will be back anytime soon, but presumably Epic is working on a way to fix the problem so that they can be used appropriately.
