Epic Games released another major Fortnite update. The second big update of Season 4 arrived on Tuesday and brought a lot of new content. Besides new cosmetic items and several gameplay changes, Epic also brought back one of the fan-favorite game modes to Fortnite.

When the current season just came out, Epic released a Zero Build Solo playlist in the Ranked mode. Unfortunately, the mode was available for only a few days before the game developer took it out. The mode was available to collect feedback, and it appears that the feedback was positive.

The mode has returned, but there’s a catch. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Fortnite players can once again play the Zero Build Solo playlist in Ranked mode

A few months ago, Epic Games released Ranked mode in Fortnite. This competitive mode replaced Arena and brought a few big changes, such as ranks and exclusive cosmetic items. However, one of the biggest complains was the lack of game modes inside the Ranked mode.

Many players enjoy Zero Build, but they weren’t able to play it alone. Fortunately, that is no longer the case as the Solo playlist for this competitive mode has returned.

However, the game mode will only be available 24/7 in Europe, NA-East, and Middle East servers. All the other regions will follow this schedule:

Region/serverTime
NA-CentralAll week: 3 PM – 7 AM UTC (11 AM – 3 AM EDT / 10 AM – 2 AM CDT)
NA-WestAll week: 3 PM – 8 AM UTC (11 AM – 4 AM EDT / 8 AM – 1 AM PDT)
OceaniaMonday – Friday: 4 AM – 11 AM UTC (12 AM – 7 AM EDT)
Saturday – Sunday: 1 AM – 12 PM UTC (9 PM – 8 AM EDT)
BrazilMonday – Friday: 4 PM – 3 AM UTC (12 PM EDT – 11 PM EDT)
Saturday – Sunday: 3 PM – 4 AM UTC (11 AM EDT – 12 AM EDT)
AsiaMonday – Friday: 2 AM – 3 PM UTC (10 PM EDT – 11 AM EDT)
Saturday – Sunday: 2 AM – 4 PM UTC (10 PM EDT – 12 PM EDT)

This means that players who play on the Oceania server will not have access to the Zero Build Solo playlist in Ranked on Saturday at 3 PM UTC, for example. Players who want to play the game mode all the time will have to switch to one of the three regions listed above.

The schedule may change with the next Fortnite update. After all, it will all depend on the popularity of the game mode in every single server region.
