The latest Fortnite update brought a massive South Park collaboration. Starting on Friday, January 9, you can have an extra life in the battle royale mode. You can do so by picking up a new Medallion, which is arguably the most valuable item in the game right now.
South Park brings a couple of popular characters, including Kenny, who has been killed off dozens of times. The animated show’s running gag has transitioned into Fortnite, as now you can take the role of Kenny by dying and returning.
Where to find Kenny’s Medallion in Fortnite?
You can obtain Kenny’s Medallion by visiting Cartmanland, a new location that was added with the latest Fortnite update. This place, which replaced Wonkeelans, features a shooting mini-game you need to beat. Once you do so, you will receive the Medallion, granting you an extra life.
What makes the Medallion unique is its automatic revival. When you get eliminated, a portal will appear above your head, with tentacles pulling you in. Once the animation is over, you will be teleported to the sky through a rift, as you will gain a second life.
The Medallion is automatically activated upon your death, as your health will be restored to 100. You will receive a fresh start, and you will be able to pick a new landing location. The new item comes in clutch and can grant you an easy victory, especially if you get eliminated with only one or two enemies remaining in the game.
It appears that most of the South Park content in Fortnite will be available until February 4, 2026. Due to this, we expect Epic Games to remove Kenny’s Medallion as well, giving you four weeks to try it out and surprise your enemies.
