Fortnite welcomes Ciri and Yennefer from The Witcher

Following the latest collaboration between Fortnite and Nike, Epic Games have now revealed that Ciri and Yennefer from The Witcher 3 will be making their way to the Battle Royale game via the Fortnite Item Shop.

In a Fortnite blog post, Epic Games outlined that from now until July 4, 2023 at 8PM ET both Ciri and Yennefer of Vengerberg will be available for purchase via the Fortnite Item Shop as part of the Gaming Legends Series. Alongside this, the two are also set to have their own islands designed in collaboration with Team Unite that players will be able to complete for in-game rewards.

The first island titled ‘Ciri’s Escape’ will see you, “Run, jump, and overcome obstacles on this journey to complete the island.” Upon completion, you’ll unlock the Confident Ciri Emoticon. To access the island you can jump in via the Discover screen or by using the following island code: 2776-4034-8400.

Yennefer’s island is set to be more combat focused with players using, “swords, bows, and magical abilities and protect the team base on Yennefer’s Battleground island.” When completing Yennefer’s Battleground island you’ll be rewarded with the Annoyed Yennefer Emoticon. Again, this island can be accessed via the Discover screen or by using the following island code: 2862-9616-5689.

Once you’ve completed both islands you’ll be rewarded with The Tale of Two Tempests Banner. Both Ciri and Yennefer’s skins in the item shop come with a number of other items. Upon purchasing the Ciri skin you’ll have access to the Zireael Back Bling, Zireael Sword Pickaxe and Basilisk Glider. Alongside this, if you purchase Yennefer’s bundle you’ll also get access to the Bird Skull Back Bling, Yennefer’s Megascope Pickaxe and the Black Wings Emote.
