Fortnite Chapter 1 will return in less than 24 hours. The videogame will go back to its roots for one month, allowing veteran players to relive its early days. Since the first chapter will return, it will also bring back many items that were available during it.
Unfortunately, Chapter 1 had many controversial items, and some of them will be unvaulted. From the Infinity Blade to mechs, OG players had to deal with many items that were overpowered. One of these controversial items, the Jetpack, will return next Fortnite season.
Epic Games teased its return, and we expect to see it on Friday, the first day of Season 5.
Fortnite Chapter 1 had many controversial items, and some of them will return soon
The Jetpack was first added in Chapter 1 – Season 4 as a limited-time item. As soon as it was released, the Fortnite item caused a lot of controversy. At the time, the battle royale game didn’t have much mobility, which is why the Jetpack ruined its flow.
Many Fortnite players used the item to fly over the map or gain a quick ground advantage over their enemies. Thanks to the Jetpack, players who were not good at building were given a chance to compete and win games. However, this is not what many players liked.
On Wednesday, the official X account of Fortnite Competitive teased the return of the Jetpack in Season 5. Unsurprisingly, the post had many negative responses, and it seems that many players will ask Epic Games to remove the item as soon as it comes out.
The good news is that the mobility item will likely be removed after a week or two. According to Fortnite leakers, Epic will rotate different Chapter 1 seasons, changing loot pools, vehicles, and the map. Considering that the Jetpack was vaulted in an early Chapter 1 – Season 5 update, the game developer may remove it after a few days.
