MixedBag Games has announced that it’ll be releasing Forma.8 for the Nintendo Switch on August 24. Forma.8 takes on the Metroidvania action-adventure formula, backed up by its own visual style and with huge game world for the player to explore.
Playing as the small exploration probe, forma.8, you’re left stranded alone on an alien planet. Players will be tasked with completing the life or death mission of recovering a long lost powerful energy source. Pitted in battles against ancient civilisations, against the backdrop of a dystopian visions, nothing is quite what it seems.
In the port to the Switch, forma.8 retains its smooth 60 FPS presentation, running at 1080p when the console is docked and it will also fully support the Switch Pro Controller.Â
Forma.8 is out on August 24 on the Nintendo Switch. It’s out now for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
