Assassin's Creed and For Honor are crossing over in a new event titled For the Creed, developer Ubisoft has announced.

The event is live now and will run until January 10, 2019 across PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One platforms, and offers a spin on For Honor's 4v4 Domination mode known as Assassini e Templari.

The idea is simple: capture zones across the map, which will then signal the arrival of legendary Italian Master Assassin Ezio Auditore and his Assassin's Creed Brotherhood nemesis, Cesare Borgia.

The first team to successfully nab 1000 points and defeat the opposing side wins, with 300 points on the table for killing an enemy commander. Warriors are equipped with all sorts of Assassin's Creed-related weapons too, such as hidden blades, Connor's axe, and other recognisable death-dealing devices.

There's plenty of other nods to Ubisoft's stabby franchise, too. The menus are displayed through the Animus, and the whole thing is narrated by Warren Vidic, the Big Bad from the original Assassin's Creed game. Even the Leap of Faith shows up!

Furthermore, players can get their hands on a bunch of customisation options too, such as the Hidden Blade Execution, Animus Effects, and Haystack emote. Expect to fork out 35,000 steel per hero.
