Ubisoft has nailed an August 2 release date to For Honor's upcoming seventh season, titled Storm and Fury.

Available simultaneously for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One versions of the medieval blood-spilling actioner, Storm and Fury brings with it a landslide of fresh content, including the Secluded Keep map, which is playable in Tribute, Skirmish, Elimination, Brawl, and Duel modes.

There's also a boatload of hero updates in store, with 'major gameplay updates' in the pipeline for the Warden and Valkyrie. Meanwhile, the Ranking System is also getting some attention, with Master and Grand Master joining the ranks of divisions available.

Also on the cards is a Ranking Leaderboard, so those of you who love tracking their progress for bragging rights can easily do so here. Season VII's launch will also coincide with a 30% discount on battle outfits, while a Hero Trial will run from August 2-9 allowing you to test drive a character without committing to a purchase if he's not your cup of tea.

Finally, Ubisoft was quick to remind players that the Marching Fire expansion will roll for players on October 16, and adds the Wu Lin faction as well as Breach, a brand new 4×4 castle siege mode.

For Honor is available now as part of August's Xbox Games with Gold lineup, so there's no better time to give it a try if you haven't already done so.
