For Honor, the multiplayer-focused medieval dismembering simulator from Ubisoft, will be available to play for free from May 3-6, the company has announced.

The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One during the free weekend, with players able to get their paws on the full game. That means you'll have a chance to sample the campaign either solo or with a mate, all multiplayer modes, plus the original roster of 12 characters.

Furthermore, as For Honor has been buffed with a number of key updates and additional content since its launch last year, the free weekend gives you access to the most 'stable and balanced' version of the hack-'n-slash title to date.

Ubisoft is also bringing back the Warrior Training Program during this time, which rewards teamwork for both new and existing players. Veteran warriors who buddy up with free weekend players and notch up five matches will bag two weeks of revamped Champion Status, which dishes out additional XP boosts and loot to the team after victory.

Finally, there's up to 75% off For Honor across all digital stores before May 15, allowing you to keep your progress following the free weekend event.

For Honor was released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One in early 2017. Be sure to have a butcher's at our review to see if it's worth checking out.
