Just Add Water has released the first screenshot of its upcoming HD remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.
The screenshot offers the first glimpse at the “grounds-up remake” of the classic PS1 platformer, including the game’s new hi-res assets and “glorious 3D graphics”.
Looks pretty swish, doesn’t it?
In addition to the first screenshot, Just Add Water is also running a competition asking you to name the game.
You can suggest a name over on the Oddworld website, and if you win, you’ll also win a signed poster of the game’s cover art and get your name in the game’s credits.
A full reveal of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee HD – or whatever it’ll end up being called – is due at the end of September.
PlayStation Vita versions of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath and Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee are also due for release “very soon”.
