Headspun, the FMV-cum-2D adventure game hybrid from developer Superstring and Wales Interactive is out August 14 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

Announced back in April, Headspun follows a guy called Theo Kavinsky after he wakes up from a coma, with no memory of the accident that saw him hospitalised for five weeks. Players take on the role of Ted (the conscious voice in Theo's head), and try to repair what got damaged during the accident. Alhough, you have to do that whilst dealing with Teddy (Theo's subconscious voice).

I'm a sucker for an FMV game. Headspun gets some extra points from me at this stage for looking a bit like a Gorillaz video, too. I'm looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

Full disclosure: Jamin Smith, who worked on the game, also worked at VideoGamer years ago.
