Sports Interactive has announced that the highly anticipated v1.3 update for Football Manager Live, which had been expected on September 30, will now roll-out to live game world servers on Wednesday, October 7.

“Obviously we don’t like putting a delay on the release of this fantastic new version of the game however I know most of you will understand that it’s necessary for all the right reasons,” explained a FM Live blog post.

Essentially the delay is down to the FM Live team not receiving the new match engine from the FM team when they expected. There’s also a few tweaks and bug fixes that need more time to be properly tested.
