Flappy Bird, the mobile sensation that was removed from its various stores back in February, may yet make a return, its creator Dong Nguyen has told Rolling Stone.

“I can’t go back to my life before, but I’m good now,” explained Nguyen, who told the publication that he’s turned down many offers from those wishing to take the game off his hands. Instead, he says the game may one day be re-released.

“I’m considering it,” Nguyen said, but any such release would come with a warning informing players to “please take a break”.

Nguyen also revealed that he’s slowly coming to terms with the game’s success, which was reported to be earning him around $50,000 a day and continues to generate income from existing users.

“I couldn’t be too happy,” he said. “I don’t know why.”

He revealed that he has now quit his job and is thinking of buying a Mini Cooper and an apartment. He’s also got a passport which could signal his future plans may lie outside of Hanoi, Vietnam.

Nguyen is currently working on three new games: an untitled cowboy shooter, a vertical flying game called Kitty Jetpack and Checkonaut which he described as an “action chess game”. He hopes to release Checkonaut later this month.
