Sega has released a playable demo of Yakuza studio's Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise on the UK PlayStation Store, with a US release expected to drop later today.

The demo is pretty big from the look of things, weighing in at 8.72GB on PlayStation 4.

In case you've been out of the loop, Fist of the North Star shares many similarities with the Yakuza series, with players exploring a vast city location while duffing up bad guys and taking part in daft mini-games.

Fist of the North Star is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth however, which takes place in an alternate timeline where a nuclear war has ravaged the planet. Despite this, there's still time for baseball, racing, and propping up the bar.

Sega has confirmed that Fist of the North Star is due for release on October 2 in the US and UK, with a Japanese version previously launching in March.
