During San Diego Comic Con, Netflix showed off a two minute trailer teasing the upcoming TV series based on The Witcher.

The events of the series are said to be taken from the books rather than the games, but I'm sure most of you will still be positively giddy after watching the video below, even if your only exposure to Gerry is in the CD Projekt Red games.

The Witcher's showrunner, Lauren Hissrich, recently chatted to Entertainment Weekly about how the Netflix series will be a 'very adult show.'

'I've been rewatching dailies and my kids aren't allowed to look at the screen anymore after one of them snuck around and saw something they shouldn't have seen and it scared him.' I don't know if that means anyone will be doing the dipsy doodle on a unicorn, but it probably does mean the show is targetted at the grown up children.

There isn't enough Roach in the trailer, though. Yeah. Could've definitely done with more Roach.
