The first PS Plus November 2025 game confirmed is Tomb Raider Anniversary. On the PSN store, Tomb Raider Anniversary’s release date has been delayed from October 21st to November 18th, which is the date the PS Plus Extra and Premium November 2025 games will come out.

Tomb Raider Anniversary was confirmed for Sony’s subscription service during the September State of Play. It seems Lara Croft was originally intended to join the subscription programme in October, but, for whatever reason, was replaced by Tekken 3.

The delay is weird because October would’ve been the perfect time for Tomb Raider Anniversary to join seeing as the series’ celebrates its 19th anniversary on October 25th. It’s not clear whether the decision to delay was made by Sony or Crystal Dynamics, but it’s disappointing that fans will not be able to celebrate Tomb Raider’s anniversary by playing Tomb Raider Anniversary.

It is the PS2 version of the game rather than the PS3, and it will join PS Plus Premium. It will also be available to buy on the PSN store, presumably at £15.99 just like Tomb Raider Legend. Anniversary, Legend, and Underworld are fantastic games, but, unfortunately, the developers of the excellent Tomb Raider 1-3 and 4-6 remasters “haven’t received a request” to remaster the LAU trilogy.

As for the future of Lara Croft, Netflix has given us a “sneak peek” of Season 2 airing on the same date as The Game Awards. Sophie Turner is also officially cast as Lara for a live-action Amazon Prime series, and Crystal Dynamics is developing Tomb Raider 12 using Unreal Engine 5.

PS Plus November 2025 Announcement Date

The PS Plus November 2025 Essential games will be announced on October 29th before releasing on November 4th. Before next month arrives, make sure to claim the current Essential offerings: Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon.

Sony will then announce the Extra and Premium additions on November 12th before they release on November 18th. Tomb Raider Anniversary will be a great addition, but here’s hoping Sony have even better announcements planned.

While it is Sony’s most expensive tier, 12-months of PS Plus Premium is still $200 cheaper than Xbox Game Pass Ultimate following Microsoft’s controversial price increase.
