The first screenshots of upcoming TV tie-in Family Guy: Back To The Multiverse have surfaced on the net, showing stars Stewie and Brian running rampage across Quahog – and terrorising wheelchair-stricken cops.
The co-op game uses cel-shaded technology to emulate the look of Seth MacFarlane’s award-winning cartoon, and lets players play as either Stewie or Brian as they attempt to stop Stewie’s evil twin Bertram from destroying the town.
“Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse draws inspiration from ‘Road to the Multiverse’ – one of the most popular and notable episodes in the Emmy Award-winning series,” said David Oxford, Executive Vice President and Activision Publishing, at the time of the game’s announcement.
“This episode provides an amazing backdrop for introducing Family Guy’s hilarious brand to today’s consoles.”
Family Guy: Back To The Multiverse releases on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year.
