In a returning sort-of-event from Destiny, Destiny 2 is going to have the occasional bounty hunt. The first Bungie Bounty will challenge to community to hunt down Gigz, a twitch streamer, for the chance to win some sweet, sweet loot.
The hunt, which will be for a couple of hours, will be running on the PS4 version of the game, and will start at 8pm PST. This means that UK players who want to get involved will need to be up at the crack of 4am tomorrow morning, so good luck with that.
Gigz will be supported by a fireteam of Bungie staff: senior designers Josh Hamrick and Kevin Yanes, and Destiny community manager Cosmo. Anyone who manages to best the team during the bounty will get a brand new Emblem called the Sign of Mutual Combat, pictured below.
Gigz also had some advice for budding bounty hunters:
I believe that I’ll be party leader
We’re searching in the Competitive playlist so true skill is going to be a factor
