The first slither of details about Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified have crawled onto the web.

US mega-retailer Walmart has cheekily let slip a product blurb for the upcoming portable spin-off – and winner of the most overwrought title of the year award – suggesting a heavy focus on smaller Spec Ops missions and multiplayer ‘tailored’ for the PS Vita.

The text in full:

“Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.”

Despite being half-heartedly announced at Sony’s E3 2012 press conference, Declassified’s developer and release date are still classified. We also have no idea what it looks like.

The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Black Ops 2 will be released on November 13.
