The game doesn’t hit stores until Friday, yet People Can Fly, Epic Games and EA have already announced details of the first Bulletstorm DLC.

Set for release this spring, the Gun Sonata pack will feature three new Anarchy Mode maps, two new Echo mode maps and two additional Leash enhancements.

Anarchy mode maps: The wretched Sewers of Stygia, the dilapidated ruins of Hotel Elysium and the open spaces of Villa.

Echo mode maps: Crash Site, where Final Echo soldiers must deal with the ramifications of their crashed ship, and Guns of Stygia, in which a captive commando escapes from an enemy prison.

Leash enhancements: The Flamingo and the Pulp promise to make it even more enjoyable to kill with skill and style.

The Gun Sonata pack will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 priced 800 MS Points/£7.99. There’s no indication that the content will be released for PC.

Hearing about new DLC so close to launch always brings into question the issue of holding back content which possibly could have been included on the game disc, but when the game is worth a 9/10 here at VideoGamer.com we don’t think that’s an issue.
