Real Heroes will put players in the boots of a rookie firefighter who has just been assigned to a busy metropolitan fire station. The game will feature Epicenter’s proprietary ‘Thinking Fire’ technology bringing life to the in-game blazes. Not only will the fire attack structures, civilians and firefighters, but will also cause unexpected changes to the environments, changing the way certain scenarios will need to be tackled.

No two scenarios will play out the same, with the player’s success depending equally on the mastery of realistic firefighting tools and techniques, and the ability to think and react quickly under pressure.

Players will use the Wii-mote to spray down fires with a hose, hack down doors with an axe and pry victims from wrecked cars using the Jaws of Life.

Epicenter has secured funding for Real Heroes and is soon to pick a publishing partner, with the game expected to be ready for release in holiday season 2008.
