Beta invites for the upcoming free-to-play MMO Firefall will go out this week, according to community manager Matt DeWald on the Firefall official forum.
The first wave of invites will be small, however. DeWald explains: “Well, PAX Prime is over. The current plan is that by the end of this week, we will begin sending out invites to participate in the upcoming scheduled beta tests. I wanted to take some time to clarify a few things that I’ve seen come up on the forums, on twitter, and on other websites regarding the Firefall beta.”

Firefall is a free-to-play team-based shooter developed by Red 5 Studios set to launch this December.
