Final Fantasy XV demo will be available the same day as Type-0 HD, Square confirms

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD owners will be able to download and play the demo of Final Fantasy XV the same day the game goes on sale on March 20, Square Enix has confirmed.

As previously announced, access to Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae will be included with all physical ‘day one’ editions of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and with digital versions “for a limited time”.

The code included inside the game’s box will be redeemable until March 20, 2016. Square promises, however, that once downloaded the demo is yours to keep until you choose to delete it.

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae offers fans an early look at the upcoming RPG, allowing players to explore the Duscae region.

Square states that the demo includes “several hours of playtime” and “plenty of hidden secrets”.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, a remaster of the PSP action spin-off, launches on PS4 and Xbox One on March 20. A release date for Final Fantasy XV has yet to be announced.
