Square Enix, Inc. has announced that Final Fantasy XI: The Vana’diel Collection will ship to North American retailers on August 16th. The collection includes the expansion packs Rise of the Zilart, and Chains of Promathia, as well as Tetra Master, the popular mini-game.
The collection which will retail at $29.99 will include a 30 day trial for subscribers and a buddy pass for a fried to trial the basic game for 30 days. An iTunes Collector’s Card will also be included for a free download from the Final Fantasy XI Collection.
“It’s never been easier to experience and enter Vana’diel with the new, easy to install DVD,” said Yasu Kurosawa, North America Online Producer, Square Enix, Inc. “I hope that this package will bring in the fans who have been curious but a little thrown off by the previous installation methods so they can finally enjoy all the great features FINAL FANTASY XI has to offer.“
