Final Fantasy III will be released as a native iPad app this Thursday, Square Enix has announced.
The regular iPhone port of the Nintendo DS title (itself a 3D remake of the classic RPG) already offered improvements over the DS version and we’re now promised even higher resolution visuals to take advantage of the extra screen real estate offered by the iPad.
There’s no word on whether the power of the iPad 2 will provide the game with any further enhancements.
The iPhone version is currently priced £9.49, but there is no info on pricing for the iPad edition.
